Computer Classes At CES Ingersoll
Here at CES Ingersoll we offer adult computer courses to help others in the community learn new software.
Each course runs for six weeks, two and half hours a week at $95.00 per course. For a current schedule of dates and times, contact us here. (Our next group of computer courses will be starting the end of January / beginning of February - call to have your name put on a list for further information).
Adult Beginner Computers - This course covers Corel 8, Microsoft Office, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, and the Internet. It is geared for the Computer Illiterate. This course will teach you everything from how to turn the computer on and off, as well as how the computer functions. You will also learn how to manoeuver around Windows on the computer from program to program, and using different software.
Intermediate Computers - The Intermediate Computer Course covers the same software applications as the Adult Beginners course but at a more complex level. Corel, Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, and the Internet will all be covered in this course.
Microsoft Office - This course is strictly geared for office applications such as exporting/importing with the Suite. Students must be able to keyboard 30 words per minute. You will learn how to run different software, and enable you to work with a computer at a professional level. Corel, Publisher and the Internet are not covered in this course.
Simply Accounting - This program teaches the student how to use accounting on the computer. It does not go over accounting terminology, or teach the accounting process. With this course you will learn how to use the Simply Accounting software and be capable of keeping track of your books and accounting paperwork on the simply accounting program.
